Osteoarthritis typically is a result of an unbalanced spine that creates stress or wear and tear on joints. The degenerative process can be augmented by a trauma or injury.

In addition, nerves going to the shoulder, arms, legs and head can be pinched which compromises communication from the brain and blood flow from the heart. Vertebral subluxations weaken an individual's nervous and immune systems, consequently weakening every function of the body. The result sets the stage for all kinds of sickness, disease, and a decrease in the overall quality of life.
Chiropractors are trained to gently push the vertebra back in place using a series of Chiropractic adjustments allowing the body to heal. The adjustments are so gentle they can be performed on newborn babies.
Chiropractic care allows the body to heal itself. The elimination of subluxations allow the body operate at its best free from nerve interference.
The nervous system controls the functioning of almost every cell, organ and system in an individual's body. It includes the brain, spinal cord and all the nerves in an individual's body.
Chiropractors are experts in the care of nerves, muscles and connective tissues, which make up sixty percent of the body. All of the joints in an individual's body are part of this musculo-skeletal system and its optimal function is necessary for overall good health. Remember ten percent of the body's nerves are associated with pain, so you may have a problem and not even know it because you fell fine! That's why it is so important to get your spinal check up as soon as possible.
